Almost all publishers are maintaining their websites and providing search facility to the users for retrieving items. A search engine like Google provides better results than an individual publisher website. If we are searching for details of books from a particular publisher on their website, sometime the result will disappoint us. However, we can catch the same book through Google. That is pointing the vulnerability of indexing capacity of the publisher’s website, and some of the publishers are not ready to withdraw their older edition after the publication of the latest edition!. An online bookstore like Amazon.com (the World’s largest retailer) provides a single interface for the users to search and find out almost every book and it is easily navigated through its tab-structure menu and category listings. However, the primary aim of this site is e-commerce, and they will display their prices on their website, and this site will not give a hyperlink to the source website. Instead, it furnishes bibliographic details.  It is more useful for students than librarians.

Indexing of book publisher’s websites is a quick fix to overcome the above limitation. This website will bring the whole publisher’s information in a single interface with a hyperlink to the source and an effective searching facility.
